Marriage Course

7 Candle-lit Meals

7 Nights to talk with your partner about what really matters

1 Connected Marriage

What is the Marriage Course?

The Marriage Course is a 7-week course for couples looking for practical support to strengthen their relationship.

Who is it for?

The Marriage Course is for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether you have been together one year or 61 years, whether you have a strong relationship or are struggling. The course will help you intentionally invest in your relationship, strengthen your communication, and deepen intimacy. The course has also helped struggling relationships identify specific areas they need marital counselling in to help them work through issues.

While the course is based on Christian principles, it is designed for couples with or without a church background.

What can you expect?

You will start each evening by sharing a candlelit dinner with your spouse. Each meal consists of a main dish, non-alcoholic beverages, and dessert. After the teaching that focuses on the topic for the evening, you will be guided in exercises that apply the teaching. Background music ensures that you and your spouse can interact in privacy.

Each week you will have homework that will take the teaching to a deeper level. It is recommended that you set aside a couple hours a week to complete the homework as a couple.

Facilitators

Garry and Wendy Weis who have a wealth of experience and have a passion for coming alongside couples. They will be available during each session and throughout the week for additional support as needed. They bring practical skills to building strong, exciting marriages and we strongly encourage you to connect with them throughout the course.

Sessions include topics such as;

  1. Building Strong Foundations
  2. The Art of Communication
  3. Resolving Conflicts
  4. The Power of Forgiveness
  5. The Impact of Family
  6. Good Sex
  7. Love in Action

Course Fee

The fee is $250.00 per couple ($200 pre-registration by December 31), which includes the course workbook, and 7 sessions with candlelit meals and beverages.
